It is one of the most fascinating and complex relationships a woman will ever have. mothers & daughters focuses on maternal influences across ethnicity, class and the ages.

For many in the African-American community, a diagnosis of mental illness is the last taboo. This project offers an insider's view of mental illness - those struggling in silence as well as those who are living successful lives.
